I wrote a letter

Folded the paper

Saved it for later

So I'd remember,

It wasn't a secret

More like a target

I had in my pocket

As a future project,

After the time flies

With changing skies

I hope they were lies

'Cause I lost my tries,

The future that I was

Isn't the future I saw.
